Zimbabwe Herd Book held its 13th Beef School from 16 to 18 September 2025 at Mystique Conference Centre in Bulawayo. In an exciting innovation, this year saw the inauguration of Small Stock School on the afternoon of 18th September, which was well received and attended. Those attending were encouraged to embrace change, and adopt
appropriate modern technologies, while still remembering to apply the fundamentals that can't be ignored, in a cost-conscious manner, against the backdrop of a challenging economic environment.
Beef School and Small Stock School went extremely well, providing another year of intensive, valuable learning, networking and sharing, providing food for
thought and actionable ideas, which participants returned to their farms filled with inspiration to put into practice.
